Dude Theft Auto Open World Sandbox Simulator BETA is a free reinvention of Grand Theft Auto for Android. This lo-fi simulation functions primarily as a first-person shooter, and it’s presentation has conveniently simplified the original series’ concepts in a campy manner that is accessible to everyone.

Finally, Grand Theft Auto comes to mobile devices, and it's all thanks to the magnificent old-school charm of Dude Theft Auto! The weaponry in this game is brilliant, and the firearm options cunningly parallel the offerings showcased in the original GTA games. In a similar fashion, the car choices are pretty impressive. You can hijack a variety of rides and might even end up in a UFO. Ordering a new car is simple: All you need to do is log into the in-game dUber app to summon your next vehicle.

In this pixelated cartoon universe, players are given free rein to wreak unbelievable havoc. They can unleash a reign of terror over the unsuspecting citizens of the quaint virtual neighborhood. Chaos and destruction is the ultimate goal, and glorious wide-scale disasters are totally commonplace. You will be hard-pressed to find any limits to the amount of damage you can do in this open world.

There are tons of eye-catching wheels to hijack during your brutal romp through town. You can commit a never-ending litany of crimes, and there’s nothing like starting a fight for no reason whatsoever. Ultra-violence is the key to having fun in Dude Theft Auto. The graphic nature of this title's inherently bloody carnage is only offset by the blocky animations and intentional lack of realism. Rag-doll physics are the cornerstone maintaining this game's notion of gravity.

The controls for Dude Theft Auto are very easy to grasp, and there's not much to master either. Core mechanics revolve around directing movements, performing jumps and initiating command sequences. While it lacks the complexity of its official progenitor, this third-party substitute makes up for it with quirky humor and blatant self-mockery.

Despite the retro veneer, this title is surprisingly detailed, and avid gamers are sure to find plenty of hilarious Easter eggs. You never know what you might encounter as you barge into private residencies, secret alleyways, secluded parks and private shops.

So far, there isn't much provided in terms of character customization, but the default avatar's nondescript nature gives off an incognito vibe, which completely makes sense considering this game's gang-related themes. However, subtlety is not this release's overarching strong suit, and the gory splatter is over-exaggerated for comedic impact!
